Automatically fill the current time at the end of a range when tracking time

When tracking time and choosing the 'Range' option, the current time automatically fills in at the beginning of the range. This is maddening. Fill in the current time at the END of the range so I can just add when I started the task and close it out.

This! It should prefill current time into the To field instead, because how do you know what time you'll finish a task in the future?
