Attachments to checklist items
Tucker Webb
Hello there, I am a carpenter. When I am on a job doing an estimate for example, I want to break things down into sections, so for example I'd make a quick checklist within a task here on Clickup.
I want to be able to attach photos to certain items in that checklist and currently I cannot. This is a pain.

Being able to have images in some way associated with checklists would be really helpful for other reasons as well. When I use checklists as a "how to" and want to add a visual aid to the explanation, it would be useful to link the image more obviously to the place in the checklist rather than getting lost in the comments, the description box, or distant as an attachment. Whether an image can be pasted within the text like the description box allows, or an option via the ellipses for the checklist to add/see an attachment in a modal window, or even just somehow linked to an image posted as a comment—something—that'd be swell.

Hey there Tucker! For this, I'd recommend using a subtask instead of a checklist item. Subtasks can be assigned due dates, custom fields, attachments, and anything else you can add to a task!

Tarun Masani: Hi Jorgen, after having a conversation with Zeb over a post from the feature request ticket called "Multi-levels subtasks", I cannot use sub tasks for such photos and attachments because I don't have enough room to put my stuff.
I'd really appreciate your logical thoughts on my comments regarding that post I just mentioned, because I can't use clickup in the way I want to if I can't even be organized in a basic way first of all.
