Attach email to Task - Include email headers and dates!

When you attach an email to a task, the attachment should show the headers of the email, not just the subject: Sender, Recipient, CC and ESPECIALLY DATE!

Is there an update to this request? Email attachments are very sparce and having the entire message, with details, would change the game. We're still having to jump back into our email system (Gmail or Outlook) to pull the additional details we need.
What would be even better is if, when an email is forwarded, attached to a task, or a task created from an email, that the whole email communication is added to the comments/activity section of the task rather than attached as a PDF.

More than 4 years later and we are still waiting for this. What's the delay? This is so, so important. How can team members understand what is going on if they can't see who sent the email and when?

Why has this request been dragging on since 2020!! This is not logical for a task manager who must save us time...
Moreover, the email should even be placed in the right place in the activities depending on the date of the email and not the date on which it is attached in the task.

agreed on the date! I use Outlook add-in to add emails to my tasks, so I can quickly preview them and see what was said, and I cannot see the date of the last email sent...
But, i actually think this whole approach to attaching emails to tasks is flawed anyway. I think you should be able to add emails to tasks in a way that lets you both preview them quickly (without needing to download a .msg file) but also have the option to download a .msg so you can respond to it from Outlook. Outlook add-in lets you preview email and see HTML text, but not download and respond through Outlook. "Email from Clickup" doesn't really work for us, we will continue to send emails through Outlook, but it would be great if someone else could download a .msg from my task and continue or forward the conversation from their own Outlook.

Would be great if there was a feature where emails can be added in, and/or can be attached to a task/ to do

100% agree! This is problematic now.

Agreed. Sometimes I send emails to a task hours or days after the email was sent, so the date and time of the comment is misleading.
