Instead of having to delete users allow archiving of users. This will allow an infrequent user to avoid having to be invited multiple times. It will be much easier to manage users when you do not want them to have permanent access.

Yes! We need to be able to archive a user so that their previous work is still searchable, but their access is removed from the Workspace.
Currently if we remove a user we can no longer search/filter by that user. I have been transitioning to a View only guest, but still need to change the email address so our Workspace no longer appears in their list.
Archiving would be so much better. Being to bring project based users back into the fold so they can pickup where they left off without having to jump through hoops.

This is what I came here to say! I wish there was more interest in this. It would make things so much easier.

Jep! And archived users should not be counted in the paid plan! This would be fair and would make ClickUp much more attractive for teams that have many users coming and going.
