Very dissapointed that this still hasn't been added as an option. We're working on a clickup workspace for a client, which leans heavily on them filling out a form in order to set up a new project. We have an automation that triggers a new list to be created, named with information that the client can input in the form. That said, when the new list is created, there's no way to automatically apply the appropriate project template. We've found work-arounds for everything else, but this is very frustrating.

Yes, definitely!
Also, I reported a bug and it redirected me here, though I don't think this is the list for it, so I'll put it here anyway and if it goes somewhere else, please direct me there.
There is an issue when I go to update an existing document template. If I previously had the "Share with" option be "Select people", the people are automatically removed, and I have to reselect everyone again. This should by default keep the same people that had access previously.

Looking for the possibility to Create a Folder from a Template once a form fill / task is created.

I was surprised this was not a trigger, this would eliminate multiple steps in our workspace where we have workarounds.

Please add this - Client Dashboards are absolutely impossible without it - given that the only way to display dynamic data automatically is via the task card... Any estimate on when it may be available?

Yes, I've just come back to Clickup after seeing the huge number of improvements but am gutted that this feature isn't available. I have 20+ lists as i'm setting up my system and i cannot believe that i have to manually update tasks, views and lists every time i change the template. This should be a no-brainer feature, right?

Update on this one, I think this should be a standard

I’d love an automation that, when a status is updated (like ‘HIRED’), automatically creates a new list from a template in another space or folder, assigns tasks, and sets permissions. This would make onboarding and cross-functional workflows much more efficient!

Apply templates to existing folders, lists, tasks

Right now the only way to use a template is to create a new folder/list/task and then move the information from the old one to the new. It would be nice to be able to simply "apply" the template to the existing folder.
For example we created a new folder template for our client space and now instead of being able to apply it we have to create a new one and move all the information we have over. Which is slowing down our new folder launch.
