Hemant Kumar: Still a very important point is not addressed: When I select "time" for X-axis, I cannot select "time tracked" for Y-axis. But this is the most important use case: Seeing the time tracked over the course of e.g. the last 180 days.

Hemant Kumar: This is an incredible improvement. We would also require an option for calculating Time Tracked of tasks including all their subtasks, similarly to when you open a tasks and you can see 'This task only' and 'Total with subtasks'. Is this being considered as part of this development? Thanks!
Hemant Kumar
Niklas Buschner: We have this in our backlog. Right now it's not prioritized but look forward to upvotes on this.
Hemant Kumar
Andres Macias: Did you select the "Include subtasks" option in the card setup. Does that help?
Niklas Buschner
Hemant Kumar: Where can we upvote this addition?
Hemant Kumar
Niklas Buschner: I don't think we have an existing thread for this specific ask. Please create a new canny post. And tag me. This is in the backlog but upvotes will help me get a better idea on demand for this specific ask

Hemant Kumar: Hi Hermant. Thanks for your answer. The problem is that our subtasks typically don't have the same custom fields set like the parent task, and I would need to report on time tracked by a specific custom field based on the data stored in the parent. If I don't click 'include subtasks' I completely miss all the time tracked against subtasks, and if I click 'include subtasks' I get most of the time tracked as unassigned. The ideal solution for us is that we could report on time tracked for the parent tasks including the time of the of the subtasks. What are we are currently doing is opening each parent task and add the time that is reported there as 'Total with subtasks' one by one, but this is obviously very inefficient.

Hemant Kumar: This is a great start! Now if we had the ability to show that time tracked in a pie chart for a certain time period, that would be helpful. For example, I need to be able to see a pie chart of time tracked this month, not for all time. Is this possible and I'm just not seeing that option? And I can't use the "Date Updated" or "Date Completed" filter because some tasks have time tracked to them across multiple months, for example.
Hemant Kumar
Meredith Medlin: Did you try using filters? We have filters on date available for most charts including Pie. So that may solve your usecase
Meredith Medlin
Hemant Kumar: I'm not seeing a date filter. I can see some for "Date Created" "Date Closed" etc. but not "Date" or "Date Time Tracked"

I am now using toggl interation to get my tracked time in calendar view and get reports with charts and other useful views. If it would be implemented - that's a last thing I need from ClickUp

LITERALLY. HAVE. NO. IDEA. WHY. THIS. ISN'T. FIXED
It's absolutely RIDICULOUS that I am paying for a business account to track time reporting for my clients, and they don't have this set up. You can literally do this is Excel it's that straightforward. And the original ticket was created 3 YEARS AGO???!!! That's incredibly annoying. Seriously considering switching to a different tool just over this one reporting feature.

We would like to analyze tasks based on time tracked to get a more accurate reporting. That's basic functionality we would have expected in the dashboards.

Came here for this. So important. Rolling up time tracked into a chart, separated out by different fields as needed. Critical!

I upgraded to get the advanced widgets but they are actually very limited.

Time tracked is THE key metric in our organization. It's the basis of our billing, project scheduling, estimating and more. To have more chart widgets available that allow us to display and visualize time tracked would go a long way towards saving us time and effort in all our reporting!

Shalynn Hamilton: I agree, our company has been following up with ClickUp for years already and they don't seen to put this in priority even though the main feature of this tool is productivity but how do we even measure it accurately
