Allow me to choose what shows in Important on Inbox

Now that the Inbox is in BETA and I used it a little bit, I have one piece of feedback/question. Will there be an option to specify what we want to go to the "other" inbox, as opposed to the "important" inbox. I didn't see anything for it in settings, and my workflow involves keeping an eye on some things that it was automatically marking "other". Some things I want to send to other, of course, but it would be nice to be able to customize those settings.

In the meantime, can't you just remove the 'Other' option as everything is important unless I choose otherwise

Not having the ability to set what should be in Important vs Others is impeding the work of some in our group. This list of what should be Important and what is an Other seems arbitrary. Please allow for the customization so that users can maximize their efficiency in task handling and notifications.

It would be killer if the inbox view grouped notifications like below.
Date
--->Space
----------> List
-----------------> Task
So this is a different paradigm for inbox based on the observation that some teams are moving away from Slack to alternatives like Glue and Zulip that allow Topic based conversations. More interestingly, Clickup can be more powerful than Glue and Zulip because the 'task' itself functions like a 'topic.'

Hey, everyone!
A small update here. Thank you so much for your feedback, as your voices help us continuously improve ClickUp and build the best tool out there!
The division between the current Important and Other tabs of Inbox was never our final solution, but a way to provide more prirotiziation then what existed in legacy notifications.
We're excited to announce we're beginning to work on improving this and will share more updates with you all soon! prioritization

Thank you!
While working on the inbox improvements, please consider adding an inbox category tab for “All” notifications combined.
We like the important and other inboxes, but our team would also like to see an “All” inbox for those who prefer to see everything in one place.
For the important inbox:
We need to have control of what we consider “Important” notifications. A good chunk of notifications in my “important” inboxes are not something I would consider important for my day-to-day, where as those may be important for others.. For example “status” changes to tasks. We need to have the choice to decide what is important for us to see in our notifications.
For example: I’d prefer my important inbox was comments/messages, tasks assigned to me, and reminders.
Status changes are examples of things I would consider to be “other.”
The solution:
Create a way to customize this in the notification settings by having a check box column that says “Mark as Important” on each type of notification. Those that are checked go into people’s important notifications, those that are not, go into other.
..And again, incorporate an "All" notifications inbox for those people who prefer to see everything in one place (important, other, comments, reminders, etc etc), so there is an option to not have to click through different inboxes.

Brendan W There was a promise back in July 2023 that the customization would be coming. Is it really? Sorry to sound so frustrated but I just discovered a ton of important notifications in Other. Worse is that I now have to go to my email to see notifications as the Inbox indicator of new notifications is flat-out wrong. Not that it's a coding error but that what is important to me apparently is not important to ClickUp.

This is fundamentally the same issue as using tabs in the task views -
the developers cannot know
what is "most important" or "less used"
in a system that can be used in so many different ways.Rockstar 🟡😎🌟
This is literally the biggest downgrade since I started using ClickUp 5 years ago. I am even considering to start using another PMS.
