Allow form resubmission to edit (overwrite)
Ginger Marcus
My form is filled out by people who cannot see the aggregate results. They don't know they are making typos in their forms like 12am-1pm instead of 12pm to 1pm...
Instead of me reaching out to them every time to explain what their form said, and ask if it was intentional... Can you add a confirmation of some sort... maybe via either inbox notification (in my case, they are asked to assign themselves to the record, so this would be enough for me)... or if it needs to be more broad, maybe an email field or something...
Ideally somehow send them (a) a copy of the data they input, so they can see with their own eyes... along with (b) a link or other way to re-submit the data?
To be clear-- If it's possible to overwrite the original entry in this case, that would be ideal and completely hands-off for me.
Apologies if I've missed a feature or setting that attends to this already. Thank you for all your work on these features!

It would be great for our team. We have a talent pool, where candidates for our open positions fill out the form and we receive them as tasks (or items now). But when they acquire a new certification, change their marital status or any change happens in their life, they cannot access their information to edit.

As a nonprofit, I use Forms for partners to submit proposals. I love that their proposals get immediately converted into a task that my team can then work with and process through the workflow.
That said, this is absolutely the feature we most need right now. This would be a gamechanger for our work.

Please!!!

I found a few other requests in the Forms areas for sending email confirmations when a Form is submitted... that would be a great first step to the above request, if they can at least see a simple copy of the data they sent in, and we can reference that back to ClickUp somehow... Then editing can be accomplished in a variety of ways

I should have also added that the overwrite is like the nicest to have situation... even just making a new task to revise the related entry would help a ton.

I agree, this would be VERY helpful as ClickUp is the most robust collaboration and communication tool to I've ever seen. It truly helps navigate bringing group intentions into reality.
So... It would be really helpful if you guys might consider putting a giant magnifying glass on little hand-holding nuances... with this being a great example.
