Allow AI Agents to run against private lists
building now
Christian Gustafson
AI agents currently only have access to public lists - this prevents us from building "AI Agenta" of any kind in our workspace as our lists are all private and client facing.

Subscribe, huge impediment for us and clients!

Alex Omeyer (ClickUp) - when is the next scheduled update?

this is much needed - please share so we can get this on the next update.

Echoing the same sentiment. AI agents are most useful when enabled on private lists. There is (almost) no point, otherwise.

Christian Gustafson correct, you can't yet use the AI Update tools with agents on private lists. We're unlocking this imminently though (I'd estimate 1-2 weeks) cc Ken Claassen

Alex Omeyer (ClickUp) this would be a huge upgrade. Same issue. Agents basically unusable without this feature for my workspace.
Alex Omeyer (ClickUp)
Rick: Agreed Rick, I can't wait for it! Spoiler: it's taking us a little longer than planned, but we're all in on what's needed to unlock this as we speak.

Alex Omeyer (ClickUp) Thanks for the update Alex! Happy to be a beta tester or otherwise provide feedback.

Rick: thanks, appreciate it! Think this upgrade is one of these that just has to come online all at once. I'll let you know if we end up beta testing it though :)

Alex Omeyer (ClickUp) Do you have any updates on when AI Agents will be able to function in private spaces or lists? Currently, we have several spaces and lists set to public because the agents can't access information in private lists. Our functional leaders would like to restrict these spaces and lists, so having agents work reliably and accurately in private settings is very important to us.

Sunayana Vallabhaneni: we're testing these features internally! Will let Michael Van Doorn comment on timelines :)

Alex Omeyer (ClickUp) guys any news? It feels off to still not have that.

Elias Höfer: Thanks for following up. Roll out has started but the team is taking it slowly and carefully. Just a little longer to wait!
