AI Notetaker Recordings longer than 60 minutes
Will Helliwell
Right now, if a meeting is over 60 minutes, you only get an audio recording and not a video recording. For a paid service, it would be great to have video saved for calls over 60 minutes.

This limitation really caught me off guard. I tested the AI Notetaker in a 45-minute meeting, and it worked great — solid audio capture and useful insights. So, I went ahead and introduced it to our CEO and CFO, and they were quite impressed. It seemed like a perfect alternative to using MS Teams recordings and then running transcripts through ChatGPT for insights.
But during a longer session, I discovered the 60-minute limitation, which completely threw me off. The notetaker handled audio and insights well, but without video recording, my CRO found it hard to revisit the discussion — especially to connect voices with faces and follow who was speaking at different moments.

Just came here to say the same thing! The AI Notetaker should record video for meetings of all lengths. Three very important meetings of ours where users were sharing processes and expecting the recording to have their screen share recorded only recorded audio and we did not have a backup recording. Other notetakers do not have this limitation.

We run Traction's Level 10 meetings and those last 90 minutes. I was pretty surprised and confused when my AI Notetaker did not actually process for this meeting.
- Would love to have the meeting length extended to 90min.
- IMPORTANT: If a meeting goes longer, I still need the AI Notetaker to process the first XXmin.
We are on the Enterprise plan.

Macklin Chaffee: we have some internal limitations. As a result, longer meetings will only receive audio along with the notes document. There is currently no way for us to record video and then continue to only recording audio when this 60 mins threshold is reached. But we are brainstorming ideas on what we can do here!

Alex Lashkov Got it. To confirm -- the audio should continue past 60min? (That's great news.) But the video cannot be terminated and reproduceable up to 60min? If the meeting goes beyond 60min the video will simply not exist?

Alex Lashkov I was also looking into this. Can you remove notetaker and add it again, and it will record an additional 60 minutes?
Alex Lashkov
Ruud yeah that will be a new session, so you can use ad-hoc invitation and get video

Alex Lashkov Thanks, we'll do that as a workaround.
Still, would be good to see/have a reminder somehow, somwhere, because many meetings we record with the sole purpose of being watchable, like product instructions, demo's etc. and it is easily forgotten. Best of course to release this limit, but it has been annoying at times to loose video.
Alex Lashkov
Ruud yeah that is a great idea, but not without technical complexities. I will research what we can do about it!

Alex LashkovA message in the meeting?
Alex Lashkov
Ruud I believe zoom won't allow us to send messages, but need to double-check. We can do alerts for SyncUps in chat for sure and we potentially can fire smth within the ClickUp itself

Alex LashkovI'm using Google Meet, so maybe there it is an option.

This feels like a must have, I can't think of any other notetakers that have this limitation.
Alex Lashkov
Hazel Johnson: our current analytics shows that this is not as top-priority for the majority of users. We have some internal limitations, but we def will look into it in upcoming dev sprints and see what we can do!
