AI billing per user
under review

Currently, there's no option to enable AI tools for specific users only, and some users might not need this feature at all. Please consider introducing a feature similar to GitHub Copilot integration: the organization is billed monthly for the number of seats selected for given users.

Request to Enable AI Feature Access Per Team Member
S
Sara S
Dear ClickUp Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
We are a team of four currently using your platform, and we were wondering if there's a way to make the AI feature available on a per-member basis. Specifically, only one of our team members needs access to the AI tools for the purpose of generating executive summaries of comments and updates.
We would really appreciate it if this paid feature could be made available to individual users rather than requiring an upgrade for the entire workspace. Our team member relies on ChatGPT for efficient summarization, and it would be ideal if she could continue doing this directly within your platform.
Thank you for considering this request. It would make a big difference in how we manage our workflow.
Warm regards,
Sarah

Make the AI feature available a-la-carte.

Please consider making the Clickup AI feature available on a per user basis instead of for ALL seats. Liberty Source would absolutely subscribe if we could purchase seats just for those needing it.

I hope that this option will become a reality. Your sales keeps trying to convince how AI can boost our work while I won't even consider it if I have to buy it for everyone.

Glad to see under review. If this gets done, we'll definitely have a few members on AI (just not everyone). Thanks Clickup team

Yes, the features could be customized.

Then it would make sense.

Wonderfull news. Less than 10% of my user needs to use ai on clickup. if i can pay only fot hose who needs, it will be awsome
Andreas Pütz
Same here. The only chance to implement AI for dedicated users to be able to enable the feature and roll it out where it makes sense.

really want to kickoff Clickup AI in my company, but paying for all users is just a waste of money
Francesco Travisonni
It would always be better to be able to decide which user to assign the feature to, and then maybe a pay per use. But first of all choose only the enabled users
