AI billing per user
Nikita Kozhemiakin
Currently, there's no option to enable AI tools for specific users only, and some users might not need this feature at all. Please consider introducing a feature similar to GitHub Copilot integration: the organization is billed monthly for the number of seats selected for given users.

Also individual features.
I want unlimited AI Agents, AI Automations, and AI Custom Fields, but not AI Notetaker. Yet I have to pay for AI Notetaker as well.

I'd like to pay for specific people or a specific team as well.
Some of our members are contractors or clients, who are just glorified guests, so we don't want to pay for all seats

Hire role by member
Giovane Carlos
It would be incredible to be able to hire one clickup add-ons per member instead of the entire team, for example the AI note taker doesn't make sense for all the members of my team, just for the sales team, me and one other person, so we just don't hire this function because we would have to hire for everyone, it would be great if we could do that.

Make AI tools available to individual users not whole workspaces
Rich Pickles
At present, it appears that the AI add-on is applied across all team members, regardless of whether they actually use the feature or not. This feels like an inefficient use of resources and a poor investment, especially when many team members have no need or interest in AI functionality.
In our case, this results in paying for tools that will never be used by certain users, effectively wasting money. This blanket licensing approach comes across as a way to drive up revenue rather than providing value-based, flexible access to your tools. It risks alienating customers who want to adopt AI features but are put off by the “all or nothing” cost structure.
Feature Request: Please consider allowing AI add-ons to be purchased on a per-user basis, rather than requiring activation for the entire team. This would allow organisations to scale AI usage more effectively and fairly, enabling access to only those who need and want the functionality.
We believe this change would reflect a more customer-centric approach and encourage wider adoption without unnecessary expense.

Hey, Rich Pickles!
Merging this into another more popular feature request for this!

We have 90% users are developers and they don't want to use more AI features. So, we request to give AI features to specific user or group of the users.

This would be great as at this time this is preventing us from proceeding with going ahead to add this feature to our workspace.
Jacob Brain
We have 50 users in our workspace, only like 12 of which would ever use the AI tools. This is a broken pricing model.

Any news on that?
