Currently, there's no option to enable AI tools for specific users only, and some users might not need this feature at all. Please consider introducing a feature similar to GitHub Copilot integration: the organization is billed monthly for the number of seats selected for given users.

Probably about to sign up for Wispr Flow to get access to voice to text capabilities. If I could get access to Brain Max just for myself and a couple others on our team, I would use that. But since we have to purchase AI for our entire team of 23, it costs too much.

100% this is ridiculous - most of our users have no use for this, but I'd quickly sign up for 5 or 6 people, but I'm not singing up for 50 people that won't even use it!

Yeah, we have a team of developers that don't need to create tickets, and 1x product manager doing all the work in ClickUp - so only need 1x AI seat. Please fix.

This has been a request for over 2 years now, and to be fair, not a hard one to implement. So it now starts to look like it is jut a way to earn money, by forcing teams to pay for everyone - as already has been noted by a lot of other commenters.
Please ClickUp, be honest.

Even if the new ai token blocks could be consumed my brain and not just the automations… Like most, only a handful of users in my org would benefit from clickup brain. To charge per number of total seats makes this feature unjustifiable.

Please make ClickUp Brain available per user or role, not just at the team level :( . In real teams, not everyone needs or wants AI features — but some of us depend on them every day to move projects forward!!
Giving us the flexibility to enable Brain individually would make it far more valuable and practical. It would let teams adopt AI where it truly adds impact, without forcing it where it’s not needed.

Please offer AI for certain seats. It is a huge cost to take on when only 1 or 2 people need it. We don't plan to upgrade until this becomes available, so I think moving toward that option would be a good business decision for Clickup to offer it to the people like us who are waiting.
