Admin visibility to private spaces, folders, lists, views
Shawn
Can we have Workspace Owner and Admins visiblity to private spaces, folders, lists?
It does not make sense the private space / list owners need to always need to add the Admins so they can run compliance auditing.

I can see admins pushing away from this platform without the absolutely must needed functionality. I feel a little better knowing that I sit with the other 215 people on this thread that has to reach out any time an automation template is lost in space or when auditing comes around and we have to just come up with excuses why we can't access our own stuff.

Guys, this is not serious. How can you manage a workspace without being able to see everything in it? How can I help users with their problems if I can't see their private lists? In addition, my Business Plus plan has a limit on the number of lists in one space. How do I keep track of it if I just don't see them? Please solve this problem.

I am as shocked as everyone else. I didn't even question it when I proposed ClickUp as the final choice of project management software. I was really ashamed when a bit far in the process, our project manager was not seeing everything and I had to explain to him that I'm gonna have to manually include him to every single private folder / list and not forget any new one. I was certain that the "Allow admins to manage private spaces" option would allow that.
I'm really struggling to comprehend how no one at ClickUp pushed this since day one. Implementing ClickUp and using it correctly is taking as much time as coding a new software that would do every basic thing that ClickUp doesn't do.
At least make a view in the settings to manage permissions of the whole workspace easily in a table view.

I am shocked to learn that isn't a basic feature of the platform. How do you monitor/cleanup lists and spaces when users are terminated if you do not have access to them? How do you monitor company policies and procedures if you do not have access to company content? How can you comply with industry regulations if you do not have access to the content users create? This basic functionality is an absolute must.

ALSO, PRIVATE TASKS:
Right now, we have a big issue. People have a private task for adding personal time entries. But if they delete the task by error, I cannot see it as an admin in the trash, because it was private.
And before anyone asks, I cannot limit permissions to edit only, because I need those users to be able to create sub-tasks.

I am shocked that this hasn't been implemented already. As I look at the roadmap, I see items with far fewer votes in "Planned" and "In Progress" that aren't nearly as critical as this.

This feature is absolutely critical. A company workspace is company property so the company needs access to any and all assets within the workspace. It was a shock to me this simple feature didn’t exist in ClickUp when I signed up years ago, and it’s even more shocking to find that the feature still doesn’t exist after all these years.

I also find it weird that as an owner or admin, even after turning on the "allow admins to manage private spaces" feature, I am still unable to see all the spaces. This creates problems if an employee leaves without transferring all private spaces. I should be at least able to manage access and permissions to that space.
What i would allow the space owners to do, is to toggle a button that would prevent owners and admins from editing, adding or removing data. it would then allow admins to Manage without messing up with the content of the space.

It is amazing that as an owner I can't see all the folders/lists in my workspace... how can I manage my team to a more efficient way of working if I can not see what they are doing?... URGENT UPDATE

I agree. This is a very frustrating limitation of the platform. I am the admin at our organization and users constantly reach out to add/remove users from their own spaces. Although they have the power to make the changes, we are developing processes to keep IT in charge of managing platforms such as these. We pay for enterprise licenses and cannot manage the spaces like we should. This feature should be implemented so account admins/owners can be empowered to help users when needed.
