Add Task Type Icons to Task List For clickup app and websitesite

Problem Description
In the current task list (see attached screenshots), each task row shows only the task name and its status (e.g., DONE, IN PROGRESS). The Task Type – which can be Task, Milestone, Form Response, or Meeting Note – is not visually indicated. Users must open the task details or rely on memory to distinguish between these types. This reduces efficiency, especially when managing a mixed list of to-dos, milestones, and meeting notes.
Suggested Improvement
Add a small icon next to each task name (or next to the status label) to clearly represent its Task Type. Proposed icon mapping:
· Task → 📄 document icon (or a checkmark circle)
· Milestone → 🏁 flag icon
· Form Response → 📋 form/clipboard icon
· Meeting Note → 💬 speech bubble icon
Icons should be clean, linear, and consistent with the existing UI. A tooltip on hover can show the type name. Optionally, keep the text label when space permits; in narrow views, the icon alone is sufficient.
Expected Benefits
- Faster recognition – Users can identify a task’s nature in <0.5 seconds without clicking or reading labels.
- Fewer errors – Avoid mistaking a “Meeting Note” for a regular “Task” or missing a “Form Response” that requires input.
- Better visual hierarchy – Icons complement status colors (e.g., green for DONE, blue for IN PROGRESS), adding a second, independent dimension of information without extra width (icons only ~16×16px).
Additional Note
Provide an optional setting “Show task type icons” (enabled by default) to respect user preferences. This small change greatly improves usability for users handling hundreds of mixed-type items (e.g., 1072 DONE tasks + 2 IN PROGRESS tasks as shown in the screenshot).
Thank you for considering this improvement.
