In this screenshot, the vertical connector segment labeled 1 has a handle that allows me to move that part of the line left or right. However, the horizontal segment labeled 2 does not appear to have a similar handle to move it up or down.

It would be helpful if connector lines had draggable handles on both horizontal and vertical segments, so users could route lines more cleanly around other automations. For larger workflows, this would make the canvas much easier to organize and read.
