Add LineUps to DashBoard

I would like the ability to add my employees's Line Ups in Dashboard.. so I can at-a-glance arrange the order that they should be working on each project.

Need this very much!

Need this! In ClickUp 3.0, the only other way I know of to view member LineUps is through their profile, but there is not nearly enough screen real estate allotted there to actually make sense of the tasks!

It will be amazing to be able to add the Lineup board to any panel, like a card

Having all team lineups on on one single dash would be a game changer. Do we know when this maybe implemented?

Sophie Lett: This would be a great solution, actually

we want a view where only lined up tasks can be seen and also sorted on due date. This would be very helpful.

Hey, everyone 👋
I'm doing some major investigation of our LineUp feature and I'm glad I stumbled on this canny post! While my question isn't exactly relating to Dashboards, I think you'll be happy with the approach we're leaning towards.
We're looking for some feedback on a brainstorming idea we've had regarding LineUp and My Work. In this gif, we're showing off an experience where you can add a task to your LineUp and then see how it will appear for you on My Work. As you can see, all LineUp items now live inside of your work and you'll be able to group by them in order to see what your next priorities are.
Although all thoughts and comments are welcome, we'd really love to know if this would increase the value of LineUp for you and if the way you go about adding LineUp items makes sense.
Thanks so much!

Zach - ClickUp: This would work fine for us, but the key feature we're looking for is the ability to prioritize work for each individual team member within a single view (dashboard or other). The Box view would work perfectly for us if we could sort tasks the way you've shown in your gif

Zach - ClickUp: Thank you very much! I think this isn't a good idea and will only lead to more clutter and less intuitivity. :(
I guess it would be a lot better to combine "My Work" and "LineUp" for "Next workdays planning" for yourself, but also your team members (as a manager).
In contrast to Due date, LineUp should be "What to do next" (grouped by today, tomorrow, next days, later (and optional custom groups for individual needs)), picking from all tasks, for example based on their due dates. So it's less strict and more kind of a concrete to-do-list shoing you and others what you're working on and what you're going to solve in the near future... "My Work" and "LineUp" should be combined and as "My Work" isn't separating clearly by the name, I think the list showing assigned tasks by priority, due dates, ... as one possible source list for LineUp should be named differently then?
That would also help if planning for someone else (in your team).

Lots of potential here to perfectly match how to get things done :)

Zach - ClickUp: Yes, I'm liking the look of this. How soon can we get to use it?

Zach - ClickUp: for us we are looking for a way to quickly see what each team member has listed in their lineup. While is is a cool concept, it’s not quite what we need. We use lineup during our daily standup call so each team member can mark their top 3 priorities for the day, but right now it takes a ton of time to click into each team member’s profile. It’d be nice to be able to use all team member’s lineups in one space at the same time.

Beth Daniels: 👆exactly this. 100% this 😀

Beth Daniels: Zach - ClickUp fully echo what Beth said, where line up would become most useful for us is about seeing cross team priorities. ie I have X number of things assigned to me with various due dates but these are the things I've indicated need my focus - but in a team view as well as a personal one.

Zach - ClickUp: The whole reason I want to be able to add LineUp to my dashboard is because I use my dashboard instead of My Work. I personally don’t find the My Work page useful at all. It’s very limited in how I can organize it and filter it. So I have found that the customization of dashboards works much better for me. The only thing I wish I still had from My Work is the LineUp feature.

Zach - ClickUp: I much prefer having LineUp separate from the my work / due tasks. This gif does not highlight lineup items enough. We use these as our top 3/5 priority tasks/projects which is inherently different than random tasks due today. And I think we still need a lineup widget on dashboards. The dashboard widget would allow us to properly setup a dashboard for team priority workload. So management can see the top projects each team member is working on. The fact that you have to open each persons profile is very inefficient.
I also think it would be great for Lineup items to appear in Tray automatically. Maybe as a group like you show here.
Also on the profile area, lineup should be in the my work area not in the activity page.

Zach - ClickUp: So you're sticking with that left column just being subtasks, eh? Seems like a lot of wasted real estate to me. My suggestions can be found over at https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/redesign-the-task-view.
As for this update, seems better, but that little button panel looks like a good candidate for that left column. Just my 25¢.

Zach - ClickUp: I like the concept, here's my spin on it. Would like for the sorting option in Home be a button instead that's visible at all times. It's less clicks for a commonly used feature — such as me-mode, for example.
Keep the terminology as "LineUp" in Task View.
Edit: Didn't realize I'm a year late in the comments! haha I thought this was posted in 2023

Zach - ClickUp: All of my lists (projects) have the same tasks and I can be working on 5-10 at a time so it is really critical to know which project each is referring to.
So whatever you end up doing with this, please think about people like me in your design!

Would also love to see this feature implemented! Would be a game changer in our marketing team :)
Peter Ingemann köhn
and now - this feature have been planned for approx 2 years - so any updates about when it's here?
Christian Madison
Oh man, this would be a game changer. The LineUp feature has so much potential, but it requires so much time for a manager to add tasks to a whole team's worth of LineUps.
