While I recognise this could be done in a chat window with ClickUp Brain, it would be highly beneficial to have an AI-powered task splitting function accessible directly from the three-dot ellipsis context menu on a task in ClickUp’s web app. This feature would allow users to select a task and automatically generate suggested subtasks or break down the work using AI, streamlining project planning and reducing manual effort. Ideally, this option would appear alongside existing actions like editing the description, viewing history, converting task types, and managing dependencies.

Integrating AI task splitting into the context menu would make it easier for users to organize complex tasks and improve productivity.

Please note, I am not referring to subtasks. This idea relates to creating an entirely new task, possibly with a to link back to the task it's split from.
