Add ability to sort order of Relationships in a task

I would like the ability to manually sort the order or automatically sort the order of listed Relationships in a task. Currently it appears in the order it was added. We need to be able to change the order once we add.

Agreed, the relationships tab inside tasks becomes useless and very messy as more relationships are created. We need the ability to sort relationship groups and their relationship tasks.

And grouping.
Also the same for Task links.

I really need the ability to customize the order (sorting) of the values displayed in the dropdown from an external list when I select a value for the Relationship field.
This is specifically needed to implement a hierarchical task backlog, where there is a top-level list with tasks of type Epic, and a low-level list with tasks of type User Story. In the second list, User Story are grouped by Relationship field from the Epic list. And since Epics can rearrange or completely end, selecting them from the dropdown should be in the same order and filtering that is configured in the Epic List View.

I'm adding another update to clarify that this original request is stating relationships sort order, and I specifically am needing to sort the order of the tasks that are linked.
Even having some consistent way that the linked tasks are ordered so that the software isn't messing with the order would be a major improvement.
When linked tasks are added to the linked tasks list, I'm noticing that the statuses will change the order of where a task gets added in regardless of order of linked task added, due date, creation date, or anything else.
Overall, we just need consistency in this realm.

Need this feature, have a clients win tracker and I would like it to sort by date of achievement. Having a log of each milestone achieved in chronological would be helpful for developing case studies.

Please add the Capability to Sorting / Filtering & changing the Default view of the relationship tasks. Just like in normal views where you can modify the column widths etc.
This hinders the functionality of Relationships.
Thank you,

My team is also running into this use case. We relate a lot of tasks to one another like monthly invoicing that we need to be able to see in a specific order of time to effectively track. We would like to be able to sort by Due Date or by Task Name.
Shane Robinson
Yes please! This is absolutely needed.

It would be really helpful to have this feature, since in my case we have over 15 different relationships

I would love this feature. Came here to make sure I wasn't alone.
