Very frustating indeed. The docs feature is so helpful, but not being able to copy/paste rows/tables is just too crazy

Tried to do this today and couldn't believe it wasn't possible. Please address soon!

This should also include the ability to "tab" accross the cells, to the last column, in order to add a new row

This function was always there before one of the updates. I used to keep information in tables for convenience to copy rows and columns. Someone in Clickup broke it like six months ago. You made my data such a pain to copy/extract from those tables, that became one of the most frustrating experiences from using this tool.

Tables should have the essential features of what you could achieve in excel, copying format, copying and pasting columns, edit options of the selected data like font, alignment etc

Thanks for the feedback Damir Vazetdinov! This is one of the things we're adding in a completely rebuilt table component. Stay tuned!

Justin Hunter: When will this be ready? It's such a useful tool for mass managing projects and tasks.
Justin Hunter
Shane Powell: Hey Shane! I wish I could give you a specific timeframe, but I'd be guessing. We're working on a proof of concept now, and from there we would start building the new table component. Tables, when done well, are a significant challenge. And we want to do it right.

Justin Hunter: hope the new table component doesn't break existing tables 😏
