Ability to set shift hours and grey out non-working hours in calendar view
Becky Hile
I'm a freelancer and my hours are variable every week. It would be really cool and helpful to be able to set a schedule of available working hours on a daily basis, including being able to do multiple time chunks to account for breaks. And being able to show these visually in calendar view would be great by greying out the hours that are not included in working shifts.

yes!! I am very in favor of being able to set working hours through ClickUP -- it will definitely help my mental health not to see many long term projects spanning into the evening hours of my calendar!

Set working hours block in the calendar view for manage the team's activities and correctly spread tasks between two or more working days
I think that setting simplify viewing the calendar view more times a day and help managers to schedule tasks correctly.
I like this Google Calendar option because I haven't to scroll a lot in the calendar view for view the activities that coincide with the working day.
It also help to view correctly those tasks with a start date in one day and the due date in another day without spread it all the night long.
In my agency we need to be more flexible and fluid about scheduling.
We need to schedule and reschedule tasks lot times and we need also to spread a task between two or more days.
Please do this integration.
It's very important for us.
Thank you

Sleep/Rest/Non-working hours and working hours in calendar view and choosing start and due hours

The idea is to be able to set up sleep or rest hours that make it easier to view the calendar view with the time grids. Most of the time one does not schedule activities at certain times (in the early morning or late at night); however, the times when one will never schedule anything are always visible. Enabling a ClickApp timeout would allow selecting the start or end time of a task to show only certain hours and not a list of options from 12am (which one will never choose) or see grids in the calendar view that one does not need to see. Even more, an administrator in the organization could choose the block of hours in which he will assign tasks to his team and will always have a range of hours in which he could do it since the team is not available 24h; I think it would make life easier for a team to be able to choose a group of hours that it needs to see. However, if you want to schedule something for the early morning (or outside of the off hours), you should be able to do so; for example, have a sort of early morning time bar that you can enable when you need it so that you can drag a task to that bar in calendar view and that the bar has a certain color (or indication) when there is a task in that range. I at least never have anything planned between 12am and 6am and would prefer not to have to see those stripes and options when I choose a start hour or due hour.
I remember that at some point Google Calendar had that option and I liked it because I didn't have to scroll in the calendar view until I got to the activities that coincide with my start of the day. At least in a personal space that is a necessary option.
EDIT: I think it would be awesome if each member of a workteam can choose:
(a) working hours, which are visible to the team and the project manager or team leader. You may even have a warning notice when you assign a task outside of a member's working hours.
(b) rest hours, in which each person chooses the series of hours in which he or she will almost never put any task and will not have to see them when choosing start or end hours or in the calendar view.
