Ability to edit timer while enabled
building now

Sometimes I forget to start a timer and while I'm in the middle of the task/meeting, rather than having to log manual time for the time that has passed, and then start the timer, it'd be great if I could just start the timer and then edit the timer to add minutes or hours without interrupting the timer. As an example, Toggl has this capability.

Reopening this one with an answer: you can already do this. While the timer runs, click it in the toolbar, click the start time and set it earlier. The missed minutes are added without stopping anything (how it works).
By the way, we're building a new version of the timer, with the start time right on the running line and a day timeline you can drag it on. We're opening a beta and would really like your feedback: sign up here.

I experience this on a daily basis and would find the ability to do what you describe extremely useful. To have the stop the existing timer, edit the start time of the logged entry, and then start a new timer is a hassle/non ideal.

This is marked closed, but I don't think the functionality was delivered. Does this mean there is no intent to deliver it at all?

Eric Wightman: I see this was marked as closed. Are there no immediate plans to implement this?

This is HUGE, please implement this, its the one thing that makes it difficult to use the time tracking, although, the time tracking is already amazing, this would be epic!
