Ability to copy custom fields

Seems like we should be able to copy a custom field instead of recreating it from scratch if we want it to be similar (but not identical) to an existing custom field. Right now it has to be recreated from scratch.

I'm not sure if i'm using it wrong, but it doesn't work for me. I have a few relationship fields i want to copy from existing lists to new project-lists. i can duplicate them for the old list, but the Custom Field Manager won't let me copy or move them to the new list. it seems like I still have to setup these fields every time from scratch.

Yes, we would also like to be able to change the type when copying! For example, if we want to copy the dropdown field so we can keep all the options, it only allows it to stay as a dropdown and not turn it into a labels field

Copying and pasting a custom field into the same form would be great.

Yes, please. We should also be able to copy/sync the custom field values in bulk. Otherwise, if we're using it at a very large scale, it becomes almost impossible to update the value of every task one by one.

It will be really helpfull if this option is available, we are looking to calculate staff cost against each task. For that purpose we have defined each staff hourly rate in a separate list. But in any of the list we cannot copy that rate in the formula. This is a limitation of the platform.

FR: This is exactly what we need. We want to automatically fill in other sheets when a staff member adds a project's cost. This is a vital function when using this platform for budgeting.
