I desperately wish I could right click on a task in the list or calendar view and be able to update it to COMPLETED or IN PROGRESS. Could you please?

must have! check the right click menu of ticktick. (they have a good feature set anyway, on of the best software experiences i ever had)

Absolutely! In calendar view I have the appointment calendar color based on a custom field. I so desperately wish I could just right click on it and change the custom field (Exactly as you can use change the color in google calendar.)

I could see a setting in fields that can be set to "Add to right'click menu"

right click on everything, now that I think about it .... less clicking, hover commands, more keyboard shortcuts, more voice control, anything but mouse clicks... but I'll take a right click
