2 way sync for Google Calendar

Hi There! I see all the tasks that I have planned for my day on the top of my calendar on the section "All day" and that is great! however, there are several things that would be great to fix and improve, see my notes below:
- when I mark tasks done, the tasks showing in my calendar don't go away. they stay there. if it is a 2 way sync, when I mark something done or moved to another day etc, It should reflect in my calendar, right?
- Any meetings I add under google calendar or that my team adds, they don't over to the calendar in click up. and even when I adjust the time of a task to be done specifically, like it is not updated in the CU Calendar...
am I missing something maybe? let me know. thank you!

I wanted to provide you with an update on this.
As Ivan mentioned, we've been working hard to move the Google Calendar integration to a new platform as well as AppCenter as both are pre-requisites to improving the way tasks sync to Google Calendar.
🎉 Good news - we've now completed this work.
It's been a mountain(!) of work, but we trust this puts us in the best possible place to get this feature right for you.
I know there's been lots of hurdles in this specific part of the software, and I'm keen to make this right for you. Me & the team are going to put real work in, but also want to set your expectations getting this to work 100% of the times won't happen overnight.
Features like this have lots of little nuances, so even though I can tell you that we sync millions of tasks successfully every day, that means nothing if (for you) it's not working. It sucks, I hear you. We'll make it right. 🫡

ClickUp's integration with Google Calendar, has become a significant source of frustration for me.
It's very perplexing that the sync functionality automatically directs tasks to my Google Calendar rather than my tasks list which is an integral part of the Google Suites. On all other platforms I've used, tasks sync directly to the dedicated tasks section, allowing me to prioritize and check them off as I complete them. This discrepancy affects my workflow considerably, as my day begins with an organized task list rather than cluttered calendar entries.
Another big issue is that tasks appear as all-day busy events on the calendar. This misleads my scheduling software into marking me as unavailable, creating unnecessary confusion and potential scheduling conflicts.
I have scrolled a number of the feedbacks to see if there is any workaround for the above but haven't found anything. Could you please let me know if there are any discussions or plans to address these issues?

Honestly, I am super frustrated at this point. There are so many features I love about ClickUp, but if you guys can't figure these few fundamentals out for me, I'm going to have to look elsewhere:
1 -- It used to be that on ClickUp, when I looked at my calendar integration, it would have different colors, etc. for all the different calendars (which is essential for me because I have multiple calendars/colors that I need to reference in my life), now it is all bundled together and just has the gCal logo next to it. I've shared a screenshot. All of these events are from DIFFERENT calendars, but that is not indicated on ClickUp. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. Is there a setting I can change to address this???
2 -- I NEED to be able to have tasks auto-delete from my gCal after being marked as completed in ClickUp. As in, this is a deal-breaker. PLEASE, PLEASE get this going. I feel like it's 2024 and I'm not asking for much!!

Agreed. When a Task is "completed" in CU, it really should be removed from Gcal. The current implementation makes the Task sync almost useless because open and closed tasks to look exactly the same on the Google Calendar.

I would love to see my calendar items on my everything Board sorted by due date. I have 5 calendars currently I have to look at and I miss items on my calendar if I don't also have a task created in clickup board view.

I'm having problems with syncing my Google calendar today. It just stopped showing tasks in my calendar views and syncing tasks to my Google calendar. It is showing as connected, and I have re-authorised it, but it just isn't working.

Ricardo Clerigo it would be amazing if ClickUp integrated auto rescheduling tasks features based on calendar events and statuses. Just like Motion uses. Been waiting to combine the power of both into one! If tasks would work around the google calendar events automatically that would be huge!
