Please pardon the length but it will help if you have the backstory to understand where this is coming from:
I've been painstakingly building out a replication of a favorite SaaS tool which is an Agenda tool that integrates with our calendars, and then takes the transcript and does the typical...action items, carry forward points still to be discussed, etc.
I'm building it into an agent I've named Cal Giorno (Cal short for Calendar, and Giorno, the Italian word for Day) which is trained not only to act as the de facto go-to assistant to be assigned to each team member and handle all of their meeting needs, scheduling, agendas, follow-ups, but it also onboards the user via a form they fill out in ClickUp Forms, in their own private list, in a space for onboarding that has a folder for different team types (Board members, team or dept members...etc.)
They answer some questions which help inform the SuperAgent about what types of meetings they attend, internal only, internal and external, etc. and it then builds them from a Docs Template a Meeting Journal Live private doc that is sectioned to include the different types of meetings they attend, and to serve as a single source of truth for all of their meetings.
I've been building this for nearly two entire days (Should have it done by EOD Saturday) and we hit a wall. (By we I mean the Brain and agent and I (They are helping me to build it of course))
THE PROBLEM IS:
There is no way to take all of the carefully thought-out workings of this Agent and replicate them so each team member can have their own Cal.
The prompting is easily the most complex I've ever seen, let alone been a part of. It takes the Notetaker AI’s transcriptions from the meetings, archives it into the Meeting Journal, and so much more. It even goes so far as to check in with the team members after a set number of weeks to ask for feedback, and then after doing so after two set periods (every six weeks for the first 3 months, so twice...) it lets the user know, “OK, you clearly are all set, but if that changes, let me know anything you’d like to change, and I will tailor it to suit your preferences."
Templates are powerful.
Superagents are powerful.
But until they are able to be replicated via a template, they are essentially held back.
(Also, I think calling them Clones would be great fun!)
Maybe I'm missing something.
But I sure hope this gets built in.
