Import data from OneNote

I would like to ask if you can create a feature to import data from OneNote/section groups (text, links and attachments) to have everything in centralized place - click-up?
Thanks.

Hi. I'd be very interested in this feature.
Currently I don't find Clickup to be optimized for post-meeting notes of any kind, especially when it gets a bit long. The comment section gets crowded. I usually put these notes in onenote and turns them into tasks on Clickup. However, I often go back and forth to OneNote after a phone call with a customer or in case I have some ideas.
I'm not sure what would be the best integration in this case, but ideally I would like to :
  • either be able to link a onenote page to a clickup task
  • be able to change the description of a clickup task by the Onenote page content I linked, as both tend to have the same purpose for me.
  • I can't even copy paste the content of a (one)note to ask as it creates an image in clickup (this is quite annoying actually). If I go through a text editor to paste into clickup it losses the indents, etc.
  • or have (one)notes integrated as subtask. Everytime I add a new paragraph of (one)note with a specific title, that title appears as a new subtask of my clickup task, and I can expand collapse that comment quickly from clickup. Ideally this would require a bydirectionnal link.
  • Any type of link should be to the desktop app of Office 2019 / 365, not the web version which is not good.
All these ideas might be quite messy so I'm sure you'll find a better implementation than this, but hopefull it will give you some ideas.
Thanks for your consideration.

@Flo: Hi Flo, I personally use the "Docs" feature for meeting minutes and create tasks from the actions by highlighting the written action and selecting the "New task" button. I believe this was one of the intentions of the "Docs" function and it works well.

@Adam Seawright: Hi Adam. Thx for your feedback. I never noticed that feature (there are so many to be honest, can't complain).
It's interesting. Looks like we can attach it to a list and a task, it has pages etc. I'll give it a try.
I hope I can edit these docs offline.
Thx for tip, appreciate it.

I would love to be able to make drawings in one note and either directly edit them in clickup docs or embed them and have them updated quickly when edited. a link to original doc would also be great.

OneNote integration definitely required. I thought I had missed something when i couldn't find it in the integrations. Thank you for all your hard work

I would love a true OneNote integration. OneNote already integrates nicely with outlook for sending notes from an email or meeting invite directly into OneNote. This helps keep things organized. It would be great to have a way from within Clickup to link easily to these notes as well as create new notes and pages.
