Tags should be clickable/searchable

First, if I click on a tag, it should be clickable. Second, if I click on a tag (within either a task or a sub-task), I should be able to search for all content (i.e. tasks/sub-tasks) by that tag.

Tags are not searchable? Also why are there different tags for docs and tasks?

We recently added support for indexing tags in the search index.
We haven't exposed it in the UI yet as as discrete filter, but if you type the name of the tag in the Command Center (i.e. the global search experience) we will match the objects that have that tag.
It's a start, and it might help some folks on this thread.
It will be available in the UI as a filter when we update our filtering experience (which is on deck). Making it clickable from other places sounds reasonable too.

Ivan Kanevski: Thanks for the tip! Great update on tags being indexed. 👍

The scenario following applies to both tags and rollups ...
I have 4 list under a single folder and one of the 4 (let’s call it list A) is the main list for managing resources. I wanted to use rollups on that list to pull values from the other 3 lists to use in different views. Each view will display different aspects needed to query and manage, and allocate assignments, training, languages spoken, etc. to locate resources that fit and to fill the needs of our partners.
I can add the rollups with no problem but we need to search and/or filter the list based on values contained or displayed in the rollup to narrow our selection down to resources that meet the requirements of the partner opportunity and have the skills needed to be eligible for consideration.
I need it to filter and search in that specific list view in list A. This would allow us to easily identify possible resources in realtime while talking with our partner/client.
I needed my design to deliver this capability in a simple and easy fashion while maintaining a single source of data in the other lists. Seems my only possible solution is to create custom fields in list A which will force the same data to live in multiple lists and that will be a nightmare to keep the data the same in every list. What's the use of tags, relationships, and rollups if the values displayed using them are not searchable or cannot be included in filters.

Tags in comments would be great too! Use case would be to tag an update as important or decision for example, so that it can be easily searched later. Thank you team!

What's the use of tags if you can't use them in search? Huge miss guys. Don't make me go back to Asana.

Searchable tags is a basic function for any system of this sort. Please advise when this will be added to Clickup?

Tags should (need to be) searchable as some type of field- ACROSS ALL SPACES

This is a no-brainer. If you can’t search for tags in the main search bar, what’s the point of tags?

Clickable tags are must! We separate our tasks to bugs, features and improvements by tags. When clicking on a tag, I want to see all tasks listed with the selected tag.

Anastasia Kolomoytseva: Or just being able to search by tags across an entire workspace...
