100%... just moved 10 tasks to my tray and had the due dates changed to "today" so I lost the original information of the due dates... what a pain to check each task to reset
Juan Manuel Aguirre
This is a big issue in my team since time tracking for certain activities can be tricked by people not doing their job on time

As the owner of the workspace (PM of a project), you should have access to lock fields, not just due dates, to other users. This is a feature on Monday.com and is a basic feature that all ClickUp plans should have.

Please lock due-date changes so not everybody can change them. This is affecting compliance and capacity.

This would be so helpfull to make no errors on mistake

this is a basic feature and must have.

A project controls scope, timeline and budget. If due dates can be changed by anyone, then how can we control and monitor the progress? locking due dates should be an option.

Maybere there needs to be several date fields: 1) Due date - immutable, concrete, or at least add a warning "do you mean to do this" before it gets changed. 2) Scheduled start/end dates. These can be adjusted and moved, so I can drag a task on to my calendar and plan to work on it without affecting the due date.
Right now, I have to have two tasks: "Task A" (with a due date) and "Work on Task A" (for work planning) which is redundant. And Task A's due date can get altered way too easily.

This is crucial! It's the one aspect of ClickUp that needs to be solved. I have concrete due dates that can't be moved, this should be a permission within the system.
