Line chart widget x-axis value
Trevin O'Cain
From ticket:
The ability to select more options rather than just a time range for the x-axis of the Line chart widget. Currently the y-axis has many different options but the x-axis is only time.

This has been marked as planned at the start of 2023, is this going to be part of ClickUp 3.0 and/or can we expect this soon.
This limitation is a huge constraint of to the dashboard feature

Same here. I use Clickup to collect user comments for research, so I need a line chart to show comment types over time but by comment creation date, not by the task creation date.

I have some reports with line chart, but I saw that the date range is only related to creation date. This practically makes the use of this type of chart useless.
It would be great to track financial history by line chart, account balance and other things.

100% I have no idea why this isn't even there. Come on team! You can do this!

Line/Bar Chart X axis time
Noel M
Line/Bar Chart "Time Axis" needs more options for tracking tasks. It seems to currently base that axis on the "Date Closed" field which causes many issues like the one seen below, where you need to update/add/change the information & Status to tasks that were previous tasks(which happens often for me)... The solution is giving us the option to keep the time axis tracking "Date closed", while getting to chose from other date fields such as "Start date" & "Due Date"...

A creation date is not nearly as useful as the planned completion date or the actual completion date and is not very useful for future planning--which is a huge purpose of this tool for me.
let's assume I have the following planned dates for paying invoices and receiving invoices (Plus the amounts)
5/1 -$100
5/2 -$200
5/3 +400
Where the date is a custom field like "Planned expenditure date"
My graph would have the following values:
5/1 -$100
5/2 - $300
5/3 +$100
And these values are in the FUTURE

Would be great if x-axis has more options rather than just the time range. A line chart makes more sense in the report I'm creating, however, I'm using a bar graph temporarily as the view I want to create seems off without this enhancement.
