This is a very important feature. Bcoz almost all of the projects are initially prepared in a word document with tasks, sub tasks and may be even further subtasks.... Even now, Im having project plans with up to 4 level of subtasks.... It is very strange that, platforms like this doesnt support that kind of a common requirement.

Alleviates anotehr level of manual work to add the nested subtasks manually instead of including the importanother

Such a feature would be very helpful.

This is the most important feature i guess, to have the funcitonality to upload the tasks using A CSV. We sometime might have to upload a tohousand of tasks for single project how to do that if this feature isnt available, is there any other way? Rather than mannually poulating all of the tasks and then we get to add the details mannually which is also a big hurdle.

It is necessary!

I imported my Asana environment which included several levels of subtasks and they were all flattened in ClickUp. This broke all logic and dependencies. Luckily, the environment was relatively small and I manually add them. If the environment was bigger, that would have been a deal breaker. Kindly resolve this very important issue.

+1. I have >600 lines of excel tasks with 3-4 levels of nested subtasks for a PMO project (1000 - 1500 FTE). Some of the PM tools allow much better excel importing: I can add a unique task id column and subtasks will refer to the parent task id in the Parent Task column. Thanks!

Haihao [Unknown]: Hi Haihao
Do you have experience with exporting from MS Project with multiple levels of WBS Work Breakdown Structure into Clickup? If so I would appreciate any assistance.

Kevin Govender: I don't. The way I dealt with this limitation is flatting out all tasks into one level and manually adjust their relationships after importing is done. Pain in the neck. :(
