Dark mode option for sidebar

Sidebar dark mode not an option in 3.0 but I like to have dark mode for the main section and the sidebar as white for good contrast. It seems you can only go all black or all white with 3.0.

I truly miss version 2.0: Dark sidebar with light colored main page. Providing contrast between the sidebar and the main page is super helpful to not be overwhelmed by information. In version 2.0 the difference in color and fonts between sections is super helpful. Version 3.0 feels like a mash of information that is overwhelming. Can't wait for version 4.0

I think you guys really need to revisit this. This is a bigger deal than you think. Other PM platforms immediately look more appealing because of the clear delineation between the navigation and work area. Clickup is looking way too vanilla right now with all the whites and grays. And dark mode just inverts the problem, so it's no better. It's making it a hard sale to other users in my company to switch to Clickup because it just looks cluttered. You're probably losing more users to this than you think.

I miss this as well! It was easier on the eyes to see the separation. Most other apps have this feature.

The sidebar in 3.0 is already less nice than the modern layout in 2.0. Please at least improve the contrast by having this option to have a dark mode only for the sidebar.

Hi Clickup team, is there any plan, progress to implment this? Even if using, it's still crazy and got a depression everytime opening this app.

Trying to switch from Asana to ClickUp and so far it's the only thing which holds me back, it's really chaotic right now without this option. A bit worrying that ClickUp team take so long to fix such a simple feature...

Honestly the visual change in the sidebar is the most disagrreable thing about 3.0 : it is now visually blended in the rest, and completely cluttered for those of us who used the simple layout option (can't remember exactly what it was clled — one of the three options that existed), and faffy as the folders and whatnot keep closing. Makes on's workflow much less smooth and comfortable, please bring these back.

Please bring this feature on 3.0 specially it would be helpful for people like us who are trying to shift from asana to clickup, and doesn't feel like new webui again again.w
