Apply template customize import items select/deselect all options
planned

When we apply a task template and select "customize import items", can there be an option to select/deselect all of the options? I have templates where I only want to add the subtasks and nothing else. Doing that now requires too many clicks.

Ability to check/uncheck all import items

As a power user, I already have multiptle existing tasks that are actively used by the team I work with. We are always optimizing our workflows and whenever I want to make make changes, I use the [templates] feature to apply my changes and it's important not change important things about the task (eg. due dates, assignees, etc.). Since there is no way to customize the import items when applying a template in bulk via automation, I have to do this manually and it's so tedious to uncheck the import items one by one.

Save as new template: Button to "Select None" of the import options

When creating a new task template I usually just want a couple of the import options like Description or Tags or Custom Fields, etc.
But currently I have to manually click almost 18 checkboxes!! That is HORRIBLE UX.
Please give us a "Select None" button or leave them all UNselected so we can choose just a few and give a "Select All" for those who want all but a few.

In the "Save a New Task Template" window, could you add a "Deselect All" option under "Customize Import Items" for easier selection management? Please refer to the attached image for reference.

I came here to make just such a suggestion. Buttons for "Select All", "Select None (or Clear Selection)", "Invert Selection" would do it.

Import options - Customize import items
Can we get a "deselect all" button so that you can select the items to import that you actually want. Or, can it save your preferences after you've chosen it once?

Sam Baron Yes! We have a task for this. We are working through some quality improvements right now, but it is on the backlog.
