First off, amazing job on nested subtasks! They're awesome!
Only issue so far is when clicking Create subtask icon, it quite often takes 2 clicks to see the new subtask box. It's not consistent, but if you click the button on a few subtasks, you will see the issue. (Make sure you're clicking on SUBTASKS to create nested subtasks. Also test 2nd and 3rd level subtasks)
This issue doesn't seem to effect the + icon, when there's already subtasks. Only the icon shown in the image.

@Jordan Randolph: Thanks! Please also check this related issue: when clicking [+] a 2nd time to close new-task row, it doesn't close, just goes out of focus. and clicking [+] again has no effect after that.

We'll be sure to update you guys when we hear some news from the developers!

@Shaquille Payne: Using Chrome 82. Tested with your link and incognito mode, same issue. Feel free to test in our account's "Test Space". After initial 2 clicks, 1 click works to open/close new-subtask row. It's the very 1st click on a specific task that doesn't register.
Remember this is only issue for subtasks that do not have any subtasks beneath them. The [+] icon works just fine, but that's only visible when there's existing subtasks.
And found a 2nd issue when clicking [+] a 2nd time to close new-task row, it doesn't close, just goes out of focus. and clicking [+] again has no effect after that. And also test what happens when clicking add-subtask on another task while the new-task row is open, saw some unusual behaviour with that.
Also don't know why tag icon is out of place...

Yeah, I was just about to say this too. It seems to only be an issue if the task doesn't already have subtasks.

@Shaquille Payne: Same like Serge. Using Chrome 87 and Firefox 84

@Jason Dale: Jason, now the button has stopped working completely. I cannot add subtasks! I have to create a main task and drag/drop it to make it a subtask...

@Jason Dale: It's this button on a MAIN task that has NO subtasks. The same button works fine on subtasks, but NOT on the main task. Can click it 50 times and it does nothing.

S
Serge
@Jason Dale: It's working again, but 2 clicks as usual. This seems like a 15-30min bug fix, any idea why it's taking 2mnths?
Jason Dale
@Serge: Hey, Serge!
Would you be able to write into bugs@clickup.com so we can further investigate this issue? It would help us reproduce this on our end and send the new information on what you are experiencing to our development team.

Hey Jason, finally figured it out! When I have Subtasks hidden, it's 1 click, when I have "Expand All" it's 2 clicks!
Also in BOTH situations, when I add a new task into this list, the create-subtask button on that task doesn't work at ALL, not even with 10 clicks. Probably separate bug, only fixable via browser refresh
