I am trying to plan out workload for people by quarter and I would love to ve able to set the custom date range so I can see a few months at a time.

Hello, after the relaunch of the workload view, the names of the folders in which the tasks are located are suddenly no longer included in the path. The path only starts at list level. Is it possible to restore this? This is because it is not possible to see which project the respective task belongs to.

The new style view of infinite horizontal scroll and tiny condensed task cards is terrible UI. Why did you bring this style back after taking it away??? Users want to see more than a truncated title in their task overview. Try product testing with real users before making changes that brick your already cluttered product.

Right now you van only create a parent task in the workload view. Would be amazing if you could select a parent task and create a subtask within an existing task.

Currently, ClickUp’s workload management relies on task-specific estimations with defined due dates. This approach limits the ability to plan resource capacity at a higher level, such as projects or broader initiatives, without breaking them down into individual tasks. We propose a new functionality that allows users to allocate resources using percentage-based time distribution per day, week, or month at the List level, rather than solely at the task level. This feature would enable high-level planning of workload distribution across projects while still maintaining detailed task-level estimations. The ideal implementation would integrate both approaches, allowing users to: 1. Plan at a high level by assigning resources to Lists with a percentage of their available time. 2. Refine planning at a low level by allocating time to specific tasks. 3. Compare planned workload vs. actual tracked time to optimize resource utilization and improve project forecasting. By introducing this feature, ClickUp would enhance its workload management capabilities, providing a more flexible and comprehensive way to plan and track team capacity over time.

Hi ClickUp team, We really appreciate the faster loading time in the new workload view—it’s a great improvement! However, we’re finding it difficult to read task title details because even at the maximum zoom, almost two weeks are displayed. Would it be possible to add an option to zoom in further, perhaps showing just one week at a time? The “expand task names” option under Layout Options is also a bit overwhelming for us. Thanks for considering our suggestion!

New UI changes make the workload view virtually unusable. Half the screen is empty and tasks are condensed to the point of not being able to view task details without having to launch each task window. Give users the ability to only show the week and have vertical space expand to viewport.

I would love to have the option to make meeting durations, whether scheduled in ClickUp or imported from Google Calendar, Outlook, etc., count as task hours when calculating workload. For example: If I have 8 hours to work in a day with 3 hours of meetings, I only have 5 hours to work on tasks. This makes looking at a workload view inaccurate because the workload view isn't subtracting my time in meetings from the available time I have to work on scheduled tasks.

We really need the option of being able to select task priorities in the workload view in the card layout so that our employees can immediately see at a glance which tasks have a higher priority for them. That would be great!

We used to be able to create workload views with time estimates but now we can only use tasks???
