Hi everyone! Grouping by list is supported in ClickUp 3.0 at the Space or Folder level. To see this view, you can use a list at the Space or Folder level, select Group by: None, and toggle on the option to "Also group by List". I'm not closing this request as there are others not currently supported, including grouping on other, non-list views, and grouping by folders, but raising awareness for what is supported today!

Caroline Ginty: In the example you have shown and as far as I've been able to find when you group by list, you have separate lists with separate columns and headers. However, many lists have different relevant information that needs to be shown. Is there a way to customize columns and headers for each grouped list? i.e. We end up treating lists as databases and List 1 may contain contact information (names, phone numbers, emails) these items do not require due dates or assignee's However, List 2 may contain actual tasks with due dates and assignee's when clicking on a folder and grouping a view by list it would be extremely helpful if you can remove the column for assignee and due dates etc on the List 1 grouping, while retaining Assignee and Due Dates etc on List 2. They show different headers and they are boxed as separate lists however the columns are all or nothing. Am I missing something or should this be another feature request?

Caroline Ginty Thanks for the update on this. Please make the "Group by List and Folder" all placed that you can group by in the platform
For example, Here I am at a folder level, but in a timeline view I cannot group by list

We need a Group by Folder option. This is critical for us otherwise we're getting lost when trying to look at tasks across all departments. Gantt view from a Space does include Folders natively as part of this view, but we really need it for List and Board views

We really need this to be possible on Dashboards as well as List views.
For example, on a pie chart it should be possible to group by Location/List, just like you can currently group by Priorities, Status, Assignee, etc.
We really need this to be possible for all chart views (pie, bar, etc). There's no great way to use these Dashboards/"reports" to get a glance of things

We are currently have to use custom field dropdown box with employee names to assign account managers to folders. Current heirarchy is Space called Deliverables, then clients are folders and lists are contracts/tickets. The dropdown list is not dynamic so we have to manage this manually. I would like to create a view at the space level that Groups by Folder Assignee so I can see which employees are managing which accounts for scheduling / capacity when new contracts are signed.
