Channels should not be a view of a list. That's not how people use chat and it makes the function less user-friendly that I can't easily organize/move/delete/create channels as needed without impacting a list. It's way too easy to accidently create a channel under a list, then when you try to delete or archive it, you can't because it's linked to the list. The easiest way to fix this would be to eliminate the ability to create a channel by clicking the channel button under a list. Instead, allow people to associate a channel with a space or a list by moving it after it's created from the Chat app.
