Choose where in description to append a task template
not on the roadmap
alex alvarez
When I append a template that adds to the description, it always gets added to the end of the description.
User should be able to choose where in the description to append a template in an existing task.
OR
User should be able to set template to append to top or bottom of the description.
Scenario:
I have a task template with an H1 for Timeline. I have many other task templates that add a block to the description.
I want to append that block template to the top of the timeline section. Ideally, wherever I am entering the command to 'apply template' the description blocks of that template would appear in line
OR at least be able to set templates to append to the top of the description instead of at the bottom (most recent info at the top)

Add "templated text" to top of task description when a template is applied (Instead of bottom)
Adam Hammond
In our organization, we use "Tags" to apply specific "Task Description" text to an existing task. We use this in automation, so if we get a task for doing X, we can apply the tag associated with the request, and a template outlining what is needed is applied.
The problem is that the "Templated" text that is applied, is added to the bottom of the task description under whatever is already there instead of at the top of the task description.
This means that my team has to click "show more" in the task description and then scroll to the bottom to see the steps applied to resolve the issue. This results in missed information and inaccurate resolutions.
